Today is the 60th anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi's assassination at Birla House, Delhi. Some of his ashes have been poured into the Arabian Sea in Mumbai. It is as good a time as any to reflect upon the world we live in today, and the values which he dedicated his life to. Some of them, especially those of Satyagraha, retain as much significance today as any other time in history. As Nehru said, the light will never go out of our lives for they reside in the souls of millions around the world. Despite what I may think or say at times, Gandhi has always been the source of inspiration for my moral compass. May his legacy live on forever. Gandhiji Ki Jai!
