24

I am now as old as my birth date. It is also 8 months in London. A new dawn begins.

(It is also the first time India will be playing a Test match on my actual birthday! History beckons... COME ON INDIA!)

UPDATE 1 @ 0630GMT:
My sis, mum, aunt in Cali an Dad have called to wish me this morning!! :)

UPDATE 2 @ 0700GMT:
Of all the greatest gifts I could've asked for on my birthday, it doesn't get much better than a Test century against the world's best team, in their backyard, by none other than my all-time favourite life hero. Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar, thank you kind sir for the Gift of All Gifts.

UPDATE 3 @ 0715GMT:
More phone calls, this time from my grandma and aunt in India, followed by another cousin in California! But now, I am very late for work.

Happy Birthday!

Also, for whatever reason, I was under the impression you were a number of years older than you really are =)

Thanks!! And why did you think I was older? :)

No reason. I'm just used to 23-25 year olds either acting a lot older than they really are or a lot younger. It's uaually the latter though.
