France Reveals British WWI Cave Camp

A fascinating story from the Beeb about a "labyrinth of medieval quarries under the northern town of Arras" that housed 24,000 British soldiers for eight days before the Battle of Arras in 1917. The tunnels are 18m underground. They were largely forgotten after briefly being used as an air raid shelter in WWII. It's now been reopened and converted into a museum. Sounds like something certainly worth a visit!
