Good eye! It's indeed Charing Cross Railway Station (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charing_Cross_railway_station). Since making the post, I've been able to use Wikimapia (http://wikimapia.org/), a tourist map and Google to figure out most of the other buildings I couldn't identify. Yay internet!
