I've heard of this scheme in one or two other places, though haven't actually been anywhere it's in use. I'd prefer councils to fund public toilets properly, but in the absence of that (and since they have no legal requirement to do so) I suppose this is the next best thing. I wonder what the regulars will make of it, though, especially in quiet pubs which will now have people tramping through non-stop at all hours.
