UK General Election 2010: The Prime Ministerial TV Debates - Average Viewing Figures

Debate 1 on ITV - 9.4 million (16% of population, 21% of electorate, 37% TV audience share)
Debate 2 on SKY - 4.1 million (7% of population, 17% TV audience share)
Debate 3 on BBC - 8.4 million (14% of population, 32% TV audience share)

At least this week more people watched the debate last night than Corrie and the Liverpool game. And the figures of the first debate corresponds favourably with the 52.4 million (17% of pop'n) that watched the 1st presidential debate between Obama and McCain in 2008.

Heh!

Wow, that's what it's come to in this country eh. The death of British industry, only to be swamped with discounted products from Oman, of all places! I tell ye, I'm almost tempted to agree with Nick. Nick Griffin that is. Though on a more serious note, do you remember what the biscuits were called? Rather amusing something like that has made its way to the Wyre Forest! Oman does manufacture a number of packaged food products, particularly snacks and such. In fact of its non-traditional produce (ie, dates), there is a make of crisps that is famous within Oman, but it is a flavour that has (to my best knowledge) not yet been replicated anywhere else in the world. Though Walker's Thai Sweet Chilli comes closest! And as it's 'Curry' flavour, I suspect it would curry favour here too! ;)

Afraid not; I think it was a two-syllable word with lots of consonants in (like "Monstro", but not that) but I can't remember any more than that.

There definitely exist(ed) Curry flavour Pringles. Not sure whether they were ever sold in the UK, or whether I've ever seen them myself, though. I've certainly never eaten them.

Funny you mention them! I've tried Curry Pringles and I'd still say Walker's Thai Sweet Chilli was closer in taste to the Curry Flavoured crisps in Oman. But it was a while ago!
