Kumar Sangakarra (Sri Lanka, captain)

Fastest to 8000 Test runs (152 innings). Ahead of SRT (154), Sobers (157) and Dravid (158). Too many flat subcontinental pitches.

Harbhajan Singh would agree with you. And me, but maybe Harbhajan has more direct experience of Test cricket. =:P

It's getting ridiculous. I know we got two results in the current series between India and SL but the second Test was the worst advertisement for the game. And to think the curator blamed it (http://www.cricinfo.com/sri-lanka-v-india-2010/content/story/470356.html) on weak bowling attacks!

From your link: he said "Why do crowds pay and come? To see cricket. If you want it to finish in three days, I can fix the pitch for three days. That's not cricket."

I'd rather have a Test finishing in three days than one with no chance of finishing in eight...

Indeed!
