Oh, good stuff! Yeah, I did learn a lot of incredible stuff. After our conversation I went home and did a little further research and learnt a lot of new things about Enfield and the street that I live on. Turns out that during the Dissolution of the 16th century, the land where I live reverted back to the Crown, but less than a decade later in 1546, the Crown sold it to the newly formed Trinity College in Cambridge. And what's the name of the thoroughfare I live on? Trinity Street. Case closed! (Incidentally, if you read Trinity College's wiki page, it mentions two related possibly urban myths about how the College is anywhere between the second to the fourth largest owner of land in this country and that between itself and Christ Church College in Oxford, it is possible to walk between the two Colleges on land owned by them alone!)
