That was an enlightening post in lots of ways. Just listening to the R4 Reith lectures prog now discussing how can people who committed such atrocities in the past be given such an amnesty. I expect there are a lot of people who can't forget that Mountbatten, and many others, were murdered by the IRA, but somehow things have to move on from those days, and let's face it, peace is always better for any economy.
It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.
