I dunno where that came from but I was outlining 'recent' atrocities as opposed to what happened in a corner of Lebanon in the early 80s. Yes, those were some horrifying massacres but terrorism in whatever form just cannot be condoned - esp to the level it has been carried out ruthlessly by some palestinians in the past few decades.

the israelis are no angels, but for starters, at least they have a functioning democracy. it's just as well arafat is on his last legs. i know i've been waiting for this day. at least for once there is hope for a solution, even with sharon around.
