Eid Mubarak

Today is also India's first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru's 115th birth anniversary. Some of you know how much I admire this great freedom fighter and later statesman par excellence. I have often remarked that if given the chance to choose a time in history to re-live my life, there is no doubt I would've chosen the period in which heroes like Gandhi, Nehru, Jinnah, Patel, Rajaji, Tagore, Gokhale, Periyar and Radhakrishnan held sway the masses of the motherland...

May his soul rest in peace...

eid mubarak... we need to discuss indian politics more! plus you need to help me on my paper in explaining why tamil nadu is so far ahead of up in social development. hmmm maybe i can site you for personal interview... if you don't mind me asking, why do you admire jinnah if you wish that india/pakistan/bangladesh was still all one country (maybe i'm remembering wrong but i thought you said that once and feel free to correct me). come online again so we can talk south asian politics!!!
