The USA might have won the most (gold) medals in Athens (2004), but The Bahamas, with a population of only 300'000, was the most successful in terms of medals per capita and Georgia, the most successful in terms of gold/gdp.

Nice link... Romania is there as well... nr 13 per population and nr 9 per GDP (not the best ranking, this means we have low GDP :P)
