The Thick of It, is one of my favourite TV shows of all-time. Unfortunately, not enough of it has been broadcast yet, but last night, BBC Four treated us to a one-off, hour-long special titled Spinners & Losers. If you love britcom and/or politics, you'll probably like this show. Or if you're like me, you'll develop an irrational obsession for it and watch the same episode, over and over again - each time catching new lines of exquisite political dialogue. It was the very first episode. Is the show popular? I've only heard about it a couple of times, though its few proponents were certainly vocal. :)

Define popular.

From my experience, I don't think I've ever met anybody who has ever told me they know about the show, leave alone profess a liking for it. Perhaps as pappubahry has pointed out in an earlier post, I am merely hanging around the wrong people. :)
