Formula One Brazilian Grand Prix

What drama! I tuned in late but not too late to witness Lewis Hamilton becoming the youngest ever Champion. What a year for British sport it's turning out to be! The end of another season and just a couple more to go for an Indian Grand Prix. Cannae wait!

Three more years now: the Indian GP has been pushed back to 2011, for what reasons I don't know. But what a race today! I do feel a bit sorry for Massa, though, who drove superbly and must have thought he'd snatched it. But well done Lewis; I think he deserved it over the course of the season. =:)

Yeh not sure why it's been pushed back either. I feel extremely sorry for Massa. He was less than ten seconds away from the Championship. Like he said, he did everything right that he needed to. Lewis did do really well over the course of the year, even though I didn't follow it as much as I wanted. I most certainly will try to next year. And it's back with the Beeb!

And it's back with the Beeb!

Thank goodness - no more advert breaks! I suppose it'd be asking too much for them to bring back The Chain as theme music? Probably, but I wish they would.

:) I can't see any reason why they'd depart from tradition... I hpoe they bring it back as well!

But look what they did to the snooker theme!

Here's the proper theme, as used from the advent of televised snooker (with colour TV) well into the 1990s.

But a few years later it had degenerated into this rubbish!

ah it was a good one :D apparently they're gonna look in to what happened to that one who went off enabling hamilton to finish fifth though :S

[identity profile] mcgillianaire.livejournal.com 2008-11-03 06:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes it was very suspicious... wonder what they'll come out with!

[identity profile] drunkendeadcat.livejournal.com 2008-11-03 06:16 pm (UTC)(link)
hehe and now apparently they're not :S hehe they just interviewed him and don't seem to be taking it further...so there you go haha

oh good stuff!! would be a pity if something sinister was involved. :)

btw, what's going to happen toneet then? 2-1 to the villa me thinks!!

[identity profile] drunkendeadcat.livejournal.com 2008-11-03 06:39 pm (UTC)(link)
yeh it definetly would

I was thinking 3-1 myself...I think if we play well it's plausible :)

[identity profile] mcgillianaire.livejournal.com 2008-11-03 06:46 pm (UTC)(link)
any chance of davies playin? he's on me fantasy team... tho i think i have the wrong villa defender. in fact, it wouldn't matter if they do let in a goal. so let's revise that shall we: 3-0 to the villa. 'cept i dont think that's plausible. there's something bout the toon that makes me feel like they're gonna snatch a late goal and ruin my fantasy week...

if villa do win it would be great for the league. i agree with adrian chiles that the top four should fuck off and play their own league of 8 games and let everybody else fight for the premier league title. it'd be like the championship, but just better!!! and villa might win for the first time since 81...

nah Davies didn't play he was on the bench though...and...I'm leaving it there :S
