Yay!

Thanks to a snowstorm in Boston, my sis will miss her connecting flight to Muscat, meaning I will get to see her for a few hours before BA redirect her thru Dubai later this evening. I thought I wouldn't see my family till atleast May, but Mother Nature thankfully intervened.

Not often I'm happy about flights being canceled/changed, but this one sounds like it worked out well for you guys. Enjoy the visit.

Likewise. I don't like canceled flights either, especially when you're traveling halfway around the world but this one worked out for the best! Of course, my parents would rather her have arrived on time but with me living in London and all her flights being booked through here, it's actually quite convenient. I probably won't see her again till at least August! On a separate note, what sort of weather awaits her?

Yeah, understood on the flight stuff.

And very nice weather. Days are mid 20s, nights were down to 15, but it's warming up now.

I'm glad our Snopacalypse could be helpful for someone :P

:D It sure was! Though my sis did tell me the stories of friends who like her were stranded in the airport, while some never made it on their flights because it didn't land and what not. It seems in times like these, flights always make it to London and vice-versa. Which for us is a good thing!
