2192 days since...

I made my first post. Or as it is better understood, this blog's sixth year anniversary. 1778 entries including this one and going strong. Thanks to all of you for keeping it alive. I never expected this to survive six years, will be really interesting if I hit another six. Whether it does or not, there's certainly enough material within to compile a memoir one day. It's been a fascinating journey. Here's to more!

I'll have a beer in your honour!

Please do! Speaking of which, do they make beer at your end, if so, anything worth trying? I'm going to a world of beer shop-like-place next week and have been trying to compile a list of potential candidates.

I'm partial to a Speight's. But there are heaps of beers here.. not sure which are exported though. Montheith's make some good beers. I'm sure Steinlagers are exported.. [livejournal.com profile] chu_hi liked it. It's a bit smooth.

The only NZ beer I've tried that I detest is Export Gold. If you like Foster's you might like it.. I'm not sure. Beer is a pretty individual thing.

I remember a few years back Speight's shipped a bar over to Temple Station, Temple Place, Victoria Embankment, London. Not sure if it's still there.
