Ah well, at least that was 34 months ago... I was distinctly annoyed when Broad wasn't dropped for the start of this series, so that one came back to bite me a lot sooner!
It's easy to forget that the decision between Broad and Bresnan was touch-and-go on the eve of the 1st Test. However as things turned out, the result may not have been much different had they gone with the Yorkshireman.
