West Brom 0 - 3 HULL CITY [K Zayatte 47', D Geovanni 62', Marlon King 66'], EPL Gameweek 9

I'm at a loss for words. The Humberside dream run continues. It's enough to make even the strongest-willed football fan giddy. This is what the Beautiful Game is all about. Only the small matter of Chelsea and Manchester United next. I wish I was a kid again. I'd've chosen the Tigers as my club. I know it's not too late but you can only switch allegiances so many times. It's better than any underdog Cup run. Keep it up guys. It's not often you can put it across the Gunners and the Red Devils. Mixing it with the big boys. I love it, I love it, I love it...

they are doing well but it's early days...I remember Reading had a similar first season in the premiership

that's true... they should just enjoy it while they can. and as reading found out, surviving the first season up is one thing, surviving subsequent seasons is perhaps more difficult.

I couldn't agree more. This is what football is all about.

Fair warms the heart to see Hull City doing so well!

Absolutely mate! Looks like another slow start from your boys this season. Am sure they'll end up at the top or thereabouts after Christmas. As they always do! Gah! :)

Perhaps they will play Le Mans in the Champions League final next year.

Le Mans - still coming third in the Ligue 1, now only a point behind Marseille.

hahaha. hull city will be lucky to finish in the top 10 this season. there is precedent of such craziness. three seasons ago, newly-promoted wigan were unbeaten for three months and were 2nd placed till as late as 19th november. they finished 10th. to their credit, they also reached the final of the league cup. i doubt hull will finish even 10th. let a few injuries set in, a few losses and the hysteria will die down. man utd and arsenal are definitely going to overtake by christmas, and perhaps even villa. the slide will continue in the new year. they'll be hoping for uefa cup at the end of jan, and by the middle of march they'll be content with not getting relegated in their first season up!

le mans on the other hand have better experience of ligue 1 footie. they should make the uefa cup. and marseille might be doing well in france but they're getting exposed big time in europe. it looks like they won't even make it to the uefa cup as the 3rd place team. disappointing for a former winner.
