Mid-Week Update

I haven't had a chance to post pictures from my birthday and McGill's Model UN Conference thanks to a throat and ear infection that sent me AWOL from anything worthwhile for about a week. I have recovered and ready to take on the world again!
----
While I was rendered out of action I did manage to watch a lot of British TV Shows, thanks to my registration with UK Nova. That website is teh bomb^100. It all started with Eastenders which I mentioned a few weeks ago but has spread itself to other British Comedies and Dramas including Hotel Babylon, Northern Lights, Shameless and most recently The Thick Of It.
The last one is a recent remake of what the director describes as being "Yes Minister meets Larry Sanders." It's definitely worth a watch and they're making 9 new episodes! The original series was supposed to coincide with the last British elections but only half the episodes were ready. I'll try and upload it for some of you to enjoy as well! :)
Other than that I've been catching up on various things from BBCs Match of the Day, Jeremy Clarkson's Top Gear and A Question of Sport. I even tried Holby City but it wasn't my style.
Waiting for me right now though is Part I of a 3-part BBC series on the Western world's greatest composer, called The Genius of Mozart. It was made to coincide with his 250th birth anniversary, celebrated earlier this year.
----
And finally, what's up with this year's Montreal Winter? I'm almost tempted to pronounce an early summer by next month. Who's to complain though? Not me!
