I finished watching Season 1 of 24 earlier this morning. 24 is by far the greatest ever television action/drama to have been broadcast. Everytime I watch a few episodes of it and then try to watch something else which I enjoy a lot (eg. Desperate Housewives), it just doesn't do it for me anymore.

I need to look up torrents for Season 2 and Season 3. Unfortunately I have not been able to see the entire series in order. It all started with Episode 16 of Season 4 in Dubai this Christmas. My cousin was watching it late at night and I decided to just "check it out." The rest as they say is history.

And in case you weren't convinced I truly am addicted to it, how about the fact I stayed up an entire night to watch 15 episodes in a row... and the only reason I didn't go on to finish the season (4) was because I passed out.

For those of you who might have wondered why I haven't signed into MsN for a while... blame some of it on my fix for 24. Evil Jack Bauer.

----

Meanwhile, does anybody know what the usual speedlimit is on Canadian Expressways?

My dad is coming to visit me in less than a month's time and we wanna do a weekend road-trip to Toronto and Buffalo, NY. Does anybody know how long it takes to drive to Mississauga? And there-on to Buffalo?

----

And finally, le cricket. India had a mixed-day today. We beat Pakistan and deservedly so in the fifth and final ODI. For most of the innings we were behind the required run-rate and it was fascinating to watch Yuvraj drop anchor and let Dhoni smash the Pakistani bowling into oblivion... AGAIN! Victory in Karachi however was not complemented by the colts in Colombo. Chasing a meagre 110, the pseudo-Indians reduced us to 6/9 and thereafter victory was virtually impossible.

But the real cracker of the day came from Nirajan Shah, the BCCI Secretary:

"We are very clear that we will not participate in the Twenty20 championship and no one can force us to play"

You tell 'em!

The first season was excellent. The second season was good. Then it became the same ol' same ol' over and over again... I think it's up to the fifth season now, and the 4th season was very anti-muslim for one, and very, very predictable as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed season 1... the anti-climatic finish was class. It left me stranded and I couldn't get it out of my mind for the rest of the day. I liked season 4, since it was the first one i got to see and didn't think it was anti-muslim at all.

I am very tempted to finish off season 2 and 3 in the coming days but my sis did ask me if i could wait till the summer and watch it with her instead, which is an offer i don't wanna refuse either!

I've just opened up a page on wiki about this show. By any chance do you have any episodes to share or links to them?

Maybe I'm a bit more sensitive, perhaps *grins*
Season 2 was good, but as I said, I thought it got predictable with subsequent seasons. Plus the fact that it takes 5 mins to drive from the HOllywood Hills to downtown LA and other inconsistencies like that bugged me as well! Especially considering it took me over an hour!

I've always wondered about how quickly they're able to get everywhere. LA seemed a lot bigger to me when I visited too.
