Verdi's Requiem

Superb! The setting was dramatic, the choir was awesome and the orchestra wonderful! And to think I was lucky enough to have free tickets. I'm so glad I decided to go, and thanks to Lisha, had someone to go with. As is customary however, I did nod off several times @ the beginning of the performance, not out of boredom, but that problem of mine where I can't seem to stay awake during an entire classical concert. Luckily though, I nodded off enough times in the first half-hour that I managed to stay awake for rest of the concert. I'm just a bit annoyed with not taking my camera! Some good memories were there for the taking. In any case, I look forward to another year of classical music @ McGill and maybe even another season pass for the Montreal Symphony.

Best wishes to the Faculty of Music on the occasion of its centenary celebrations, and apologies to Shauna for not making her recital earlier in the day. I trust it went well! :)
