Srirangam is home to Ranganathaswamy Koyil and is situated on an island-town near Thiruchirapalli, Tamil Nad's 4th largest city. Koyil/Kovil is the Tamil word for Temple and this one is famous for its resting form idol-statue of Lord Vishnu.
