Australia agrees to sell uranium to the world's biggest nuclear proliferator

Last month, Australia refused to sell the same stuff to India because we were not part of that silly Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. This despite the fact we're arguably the world's safest nuclear-equipped non-proliferator that's not a signatory to the CTBT or NPT.

I'm pretty confident the tide will change within the next year or two but it appears as though the letter of the law clouds the judgment of those who truly believe the Chinese. It's possible and perhaps probable they won't use this uranium to propel their nuclear weapons arsenal but only an idiot could believe they are more worthy of such a commodity and won't continue their nefarious behaviour.

Our work continues...
