"Hello, Chicago. If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible, who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time, who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer. This is our moment. This is our time, to put our people back to work and open doors of opportunity for our kids; to restore prosperity and promote the cause of peace; to reclaim the American dream and reaffirm that fundamental truth, that, out of many, we are one; that while we breathe, we hope. And where we are met with cynicism and doubts and those who tell us that we can't, we will respond with that timeless creed that sums up the spirit of a people: Yes, we can." -Barack Hussein Obama's Victory Speech

As historic as tomorrow's events will be, one thing really annoys me - why have American politicians done nothing/little to drastically reduce the time it takes to nominate a Presidential candidate, conduct an election and then complete the transition? For goodness sake we live in the 21st-century. Hurry up already. A day longer and I wouldn't be surprised if all the hubris translated into a Vatican beatification. Jokes aside, I envy anybody who will be attending the event tomorrow. Think of me if you can, I'd've loved to have been there. It won't be the same watching it on the tele or listening to it on the radio, as the case maybe for me. It's a time for the world to bring back the love to the world's oldest and possibly greatest democracy. I'll miss the Bushisms, but good riddance to the ape!
Good luck, Mr. President! Yes, you can!
