Oh! Man, it's hot in here...

I am back under the piercing Omani sun, melting my summer away. This isn't a great season to be spending time in the Arabian Gulf and to be brutally honest, this was probably the first time I wasn't really excited to be returning home.
You see, in previous years I've always looked forward to spending Christmas and Summer Holidays in the Orient, perhaps subconsciously aware of the fact that eventually I would be heading back to Canuck-land. Unfortunately, having graduated without a job in hand, my future in North America is rather uncertain.
To be sure, there is growing certainty that my sister will be heading to McGill in the Fall which adds impetus to my job search within Montreal. While my spoken French skills, or lack thereof, could hinder the process, I live in hope!
There is also a good reason to be back home and it doesn't go any further than my mum's fortress aka the kitchen. Indian food is an extremely popular restaurant cuisine but there's nothing quite like a home-cooked meal!
To all of you photo-whores, hang tight! Thanks to my new 250GB External HDD, I've got enough to share with you for the rest of the summer.
Till then, enjoy yourselves wherever you maybe! For me, China beckons in less than a week!
