Last night, I discovered this gem at the Crowne Plaza Hotel where my dad delivered a lecture on Sports Injuries. Though I do not have the numbers to back this up, it confirms my theory that there is a significant spike in German and Austrian tourists to this country, particularly by senior citizens. People who can speak German, Arabic and English are in high demand. I actually know this guy who speaks all three because one of his parents is German, the other Omani and he went to English-medium schools. I haven't met him recently but last I heard, he was spending his free-time acting as a tour guide to elderly Austrian tourists. Ma'ashallah!
