What a fantastic sight! We only have about an inch of snow in Worcestershire, though that's enough to look pretty, but some of the reports from the SE are amazing. From memory, it does look about on a par with February 1991 (we had eight inches even here then, so there's no comparison for us) and as such is exceptional for London.
You could have several more inches tonight, too; it all depends on exactly where the new area of snow coming up from France goes - too far east and you'll miss it; too far west and the eastern edge will start to turn to rain. Exciting times.
