I'm glad Luke Young didn't come to Liverpool. He's past his best. I also hope we don't get Carlton Cole. We need goalscorers. We need someone at least half as good as Torres, but I'll take someone half as good as that.
Bob Bradley is bad news. He's never managed a big club anywhere and four matches at the World Cup is not exactly the depth of a managing record you want to depend on. Southgate would be a stable bet and he's got history with the club. Sven's just a mercenary. But however long he spent at the club, his influence would be good. He just can't seem to last long anywhere and that is a massive problem. The last thing Villa needs is a Chelseaesque musical chairs of managers.
