42, 66*, 30, 38, 31, 7, 40. Not great, but consistent enough to suggest that he hasn't been in "horrible" form. You shouldn't be dropped after averaging 42 for a series (though it has been done - Dean Jones averaged 48 in his last test series, 92/3 in Sri Lanka, for no good reason).
Not sure about the current one-day playing conditions on bouncers. I can't find any recent playing conditions on CricInfo, if you can't find them I'll make a more thorough search sometime later.
