Three fewer words and phrases to last month but we've got our first Punjabi ones at (1) and (2). French makes another two appearances at (6) and the rest are in English.

EDIT: Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] loganberrybunny for pointing out the obvious flaw in the poll options below.

(Your options are out: since there are only 35 words and phrases, the second option should be "31-34".)

Hardest one so far for me: I only got 31. I didn't know either Punjabi word, radge or rebarbative.

the rest are in English.

What, even "bon viveur"? =;)

If the Punjabi words have the same meaning as the Hindi words that are spelt the same, then I know what they mean. I really love these polls, so much fun! I'm going to have to look a lot of these up! Especially 3. I'm guessing 20 is a reference to Macbeth?

Yes, they're both the same in Hindi! Your Hindi is definitely better than mine. Come to think of it, I should've known Jaan if I'd thought of it as a Hindi word and seen it spelt Jan... very commonly used in political parties in Hindi-speaking areas.

Have you watched Aarakshan?

Am glad you like the polls! Number 3 is an intriguing one, heard it on the radio fairly early in the month and if I remember right, the person saying it made a right mess of it. But it was enough to make me look the original phrase up.

And yes, 20 is about Macbeth!

I'm sorry for all the oversights! I was quite enjoying the comedy programme on Radio 4 last night (Old Harry's Game) and had a feeling I should've paid closer attention to the task at hand!

Hardest one so far for me
I'm not surprised! I knew the least number of words in this one as well... but not as many as 31, still very good!
