My mum might cling to the next Pope being Indian to make me return to Catholicism. :P

Nah, I don't think so. I have the impression that Ratzinger will be the next one. And I am glad I stopped being a Catholic way before it occurs!

Peace!

Hehehe. I can't admit to really be following the race to who will become the next Pope, but this link certainly caught my attention!

Very interesting article - whoever it turns out to be, I'm hoping for someone more liberal/modern/reasonable. I'm not sure if that's even in the range of possibilities but it's definitely time for some changes.

Catholicism, liberal? say what??

j/k. I don't really care who it is, but like I mentioned above, I found this article amongst others in my Google News, India Edition and found it eye-catching and amusing. With 25+ million Christians, it's not such a bad idea to have an Indian Pope. That's like several times the population of several Christian-majority countries, Australia and Romania included. :)
