The only reason I didn't go watch India play at Chelmsford this weekend, was because I didn't have enough money. I did however, dream of going for at least a coupla weeks, and more importantly, dream of watching SRT score a century. After what happened at Chelmsford today, I kinda regret not going. I know it would've been a risk, but the eventual returns would've been absolutely worth it! Instead, I joined the Historical Association on its final event of the season, with a guided tour of Roman London. It was a lot cheaper, and it was more than worth it. There were also no risks involved, even if it had rained, as it has threatened to do so all week. Having enjoyed the walk so much, and subsequently witnessed my first LIVE game of Bowls on the way home, I don't really regret missing the cricket chance to watch my all-time cricketing idol score more than 50% of India's runs today. If however, he does get a chance to bat again tomorrow, unlikely as it is, and smash another beauty, then I will most definitely regret it. Pics to follow!
