I fell asleep early last night, and didn't get a chance to post a few more airport fiasco articles from the British-left:

It's been a while since I've read anything from George Monbiot, but he's as feisty as ever. Still writing for The Guardian, he explains why the climate camp is not only an environmental demonstration, but a protest for democracy! Echoing his views somewhat, is the leader in yesterday's Independent. They've described it as the fight for free speech. And finally, another from The Independent: Adam Raphael explains why Heathrow should be scrapped entirely, and a new, modern, 4-to-6 runway international airport should be built in the Thames Estuary before 2030. Frankly, I like the idea but I haven't heard anybody else propose this yet. Either way, with no less than 5 articles in yesterday's broadsheets targeting the government and BAA, one could safely assume there is a major problem.
