As I predicted, Kumble was made Test captain and on his debut in his new role he took 7 wickets, got his 10th Man of the Match award and guided India to a deserved victory in the 1st Test of the 3-match series. All we need to do now is play good cricket and take the series. The real test begins in Melbourne on December 26. If only I could figure out a way to get Down Under to watch that match.
