Windows Live Photo Gallery, which comes pre-installed with Windows Vista and Windows 7, has a panoramic stitching feature. Judging by the image below it's bloody good. You can even use the program to upload directly to Flickr and Facebook!

Thanks! [livejournal.com profile] dubaiwalla recommends using Microsoft ICE. When I first tried using it a couple months ago I didn't have much luck but I've just tried using it again and the quality of the output is noticeably better! I'm going to try it for the panorama posted above and see if it still holds true.

Yep, tried it again and it's produced a higher quality image than that produced by Autostitch. It also seems like Microsoft ICE works quicker than Autostitch.
