My first David Lynch movie. Highway or none, I'm Lost alright... :/

I'm sure it was a good movie. I slept for a few minutes inbetween but even for the parts that I was wide awake, it didn't make much sense until IMDB came to the rescue...

David Lynch is always confusing the first time around -- usually you need to watch his stuff 2 or more times before you can even begin to formulate ideas about it. So don't worry :)

Aww, thanks. Yeh, although I'm not quite sure I enjoyed it enough to wanna watch it again. :P

I'll try Mulholland Drive and Blue Velvet though sometime soon if possible.

All you need to remember is that it was a circular time line, and view time basically as just another dimension. It was a lot more clever than "Memento"

That whizzed past me head as well - but then again it's just past 2am so I'll read what you wrote tomorrow morning again. ;)

Maybe cuz I understood Memento better I like it more...

Memento was a lot simpler really. It jacked me off a bit even before the movie because the star was a dodgy soapie actor! *grins*

as a david lynch fan..

'lost highway' can be a bit odd at the first watch. took me seeing it 2 or 3 times to grasp it (and i wonder if i ever have now?) i let my mind make of it what it wants.

another good Lynch film is 'wild at heart'. :)

it's one of my fave movies. i haven't seen it in aeons though - good thing you posted about it. i think i'mma watch it again soon :D

it IS, however, one of those movies that might need a few viewings before the story sinks in. give it another try sometime later :)

Yeh... Unfortunately it was a borrowed DVD but I might try and see if the library has a copy. Definitely needs a 2nd viewing.

I think I'm appreciating it more now than I did when I just finished watching it.

Any other movies of his you recommend?
