The Name's Mirza, Sania Mirza - take note!

She's become the first Indian woman to win a WTA tour title, and better still in her hometown of Hyderabad! I'm ecstatic to say the least and I'm pretty sure so are a lotta other people! Last month she lost to Serena in the 3rd round, but still made Grand Slam history for India. Less than a month later she's taken that a step further! OK, so the Hyderabad Open isn't the Virginia Slims or Eastbourne but like Confucius said: "a thousand mile journey, begins with a single step" and our girl is taking it one step @ a time! :)

I don't mind if other people got to watch the match - the more the better! She deserved a bigggg audience. ;)

Damn you for getting Sun TV! I don't particularly enjoy it when I go back home, unless it's a big festival in which case they show some classic movies, but when I'm so far away, it would be great to get a feel for home. :)
