Well, well. That went a lot better than I expected. Laxman's love affair with Eden Gardens continued as he scored his fourth century in nine Tests there, making it 1041 runs at 94.63! 3rd highest 7th-wicket partnership in history. And it seems Dhoni has finally turned a batting corner in Tests. It augurs well for the future. If we don't win it from here, we don't deserve the top ranking. COME ON INDIA!
We've taken the lead but some late wickets have brought the Proteas right back into it. SRT notched up his 47th Test century and fifth in seven matches. Seems only a matter of time before he becomes the first player to reach the half-century milestone. Meanwhile Sehwag scored yet another quickfire 150+, his 19th Test century.
