interesting, because "dosvidanya" russian for goodbye is literally "until seeing you again" as it is also inpolite to say I'm going ( belive it or not for the same reason :)
and bon voyage is the phrase used in russian for when somebody is travelling ( I also blame it on the Westernization :))
