Mr. Hari,

Hoping that u get back the assignments lost in IS, I wanna tell u that I am sqrt(2) as irrational number... It says that I am really attractive to Europeans (so true, right?). Anyways, Good Luck Mate

The Romanian... aka Buthan, aka SMM, aka Grasu, aka Labar, aka Butelie, aka LD and many others.

5/400!

I'm also e. At the moment though, I'm trying to learn about tensor calculus. I'm tired, and I'm looking forward to the Christmas break and the Boxing Day test match.

5/400! Heard it's a belter of a pitch. Besides India can lose the next three tests handsomely. ;-) They overhauled all series objectives with their performance in the 1st innings of the first test. *lol* Bloody hell, I seriously thought they'd lose 4-0, and even rain wouldn't save them. Who would've thought? (As Cris and I would say ... WTF, mate?) :-)

I am also looking forward to the Christmas break and Boxing Day test match. When does yours begin? My countdown has begun ... as of 20:48 Brisbane time I had 16 hours to go! Yay!! Another 50 hours and i'll be off to Oman!! 87 hours hence and I'll be in Oman ... damn, now the numbers start to look a little too big ... Anyways, it's soon enough.

Before I depart though, I had to mention this. It is amazing to see the kind of influence desis have on goras (lit: whiteys) around the world. Cris, from the not so greener pastures of Eastern Europe ;-) will probably understand cricket and desis better than 90% of ppl in his continent while perhaps the same could be said of a certain aussay. Just one correction. Say Jai Australiastan, rather than Zindabad. :-)

Adios!

My Christmas break begins on the 25th, and I go back to work/study on the first Monday in January.

Doesn't "zindabad" mean "long live"? In which case I am quite entitled to wish for our cricket team to remain ever thus...

Picture of me, advertising our Alma Mater to the untapped market of third year physics students: http://wwwrsphysse.anu.edu.au/~drw110/slides/DSC02140a.html

We had a rare event in a WA v Tas four-dayer recently. Brad Williams played for WA for over two days (I think), and then a replacement was called in after Williams was called up to the test side. The replacement was allowed to bowl, and indeed took 3/47.
